There are so many places to eat. And at that, there's so many incredible places to eat.

In the age of Door Dash and take-out and cheap chain restaurants, there's no shortage of places to grab an okay bite to eat.

But an amazing meal? With a story? With a passionate team?
That's harder to come by.

Let me show the world what you're about in a way that makes them care.

FOOD & RESTAURANT PHOTOGRAPHY THAT TELLS YOUR STORY

kind words

Lauren is amazing! I run a small charcuterie/grazing business and she took product photos for me. They were absolutely perfect. She was great at checking in during the planning phase and throughout the shoot to make sure that we were both entirely on the same page. She’s talented, professional, and a very nice person to spend time with! I couldn’t have asked for a better experience or final product.

Maeve M. - Curated Boxes & Boards

Lauren did exceptional food photography for our fine dining restaurant Clos in Moncton. She was very in tune with our needs and has quick turn around with the photos. An absolute pleasure to work with.

Always professional and can make you feel at ease instantly! I highly recommend her for both personal and product shoots

inquire

Restaurant photography is unique and needs to reflect the business, values and offerings of every individual establishment.

It's important to me to meet with my clients, either in person or over the phone, to get a holistic understanding of your brand, your dishes and your story. I'll do a deep dive with you to understand what photos you're missing and how you'll use them to make sure we're a good fit.

Inquire & Consult

Research

Once you're booked in, I'll start planning. Once I know the dishes we're shooting, I'll create a moodboard, plan props and start concepting.

Having a plan is the best way to ensure our shoot runs smoothly, is efficient, and has all the elements needed to design images that just feel like your brand.

Some shoots benefit from props, backdrops and special lighting - while some feel more at home with your restaurant in it's natural environment.

Shoot

I love getting a detailed inquiry, but it’s important to know that your date is not secured with me until your deposit is paid and your contract is signed. (No matter how jumping-up-and-down-excited we are about working together.) Once we’ve crossed “pay deposit” and “sign contract” off the to-do list, your wedding is officially in my calendar!

Shoot

Let's incorporate the hustle and bustle of your restaurant with behind the scenes action, chef shots and dining photos. Give your photos life.

Launching a new menu? Let's capture the dishes as they are to give customers a sneak-peak to the best meal of their lives.

Food photography isn't limited to places with a brick-and-mortar location. Let's create magic for your mobile-business needs.

Packages are custom made for each shoot! I love to meet up with future clients, either in person or over the phone, to deep dive into the needs of your business.

No two restaurants are the same, so no two quotes will be either. I love working with small local establishments so I have packages of all sizes to accommodate different uses.

I'm based in Moncton but don't (currently) have a studio.

For restaurant photography, this is usually preferred so we can capture your restaurant as it is so your customers know what to expect when they visit.

For businesses without a brick and mortar location, I have a list of places we can rent to create some photo magic. Let's talk locations!

In my consults I go over how you plan to use your images and create a license for you so you aren't paying for more than you need.

Usage agreements are based on the different possible uses (advertising, in-house menus, social media, web, signage) and reflect the size of campaigns.

Pricing is scaled to the usage so I can keep working with mom and pop places that I love!

I have a large collection of food props that can be used for shoots free of charge! This is one of the benefits to hiring someone who runs their own food blog.

Any specific props that are purchased for the shoot will be billed to the client. All expenses will be approved before purchasing. The restaurant can keep all props purchased specifically for the shoot.

I love to style dishes and can certainly offer this service.

For most restaurants, you want the dishes to be as they are for the customers so they aren't expecting a different dish. I will set up the scene to look the best it can.

If you are looking for photography packaged foods or products, I will style the food if you don't have a specific way you like it presented. This is one of my favourite parts of shooting and you can see some of my styling on my blog, Maritime Glutton.

My personal shooting style is true-to-life and filled with emotion.

I understand that not all clients will want photos in the way that I shoot - so I am able to change my editing and styling based on the requests of the client.

There are some styles I have more experience with than others so our consult is important for me to understand the type of photos you want and if I'm a good fit. I will never take on a client that I don't believe I can deliver for.

I have multiple flashes and softboxes to light the food in a way that makes it appetizing.

If we're doing interior shots of the restaurant itself, I like to use the light available in the establishment so it's capturing a realistic view of what customers can expect.
